2. Website delivery and server logs
When this website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested address, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and device information. Processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its stability and security, and prevent misuse.
Transmission between your browser and this website is encrypted using TLS. We receive the connection data automatically from your browser or device. The website cannot be delivered without this technically necessary processing.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website. Recipients may include hosting and infrastructure providers commissioned by us and acting as processors.
Log data is deleted when it is no longer required for secure and reliable operation. It is retained for longer only where necessary to investigate a security incident or comply with a legal obligation.
3. Self-hosted audience measurement
After your voluntary consent, we use HitKeep on infrastructure controlled by us to measure aggregate reach and website usage and to improve the site technically. No audience measurement occurs without consent, and the website remains available. We do not use an external analytics, advertising or marketing provider or any Google service for this purpose.
We process the requested path without query parameters, the referrer origin and path, browser identifier, browser and screen dimensions, language, and random page and session identifiers. The IP address is technically processed during transport and may be used to derive a coarse location.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Access to the device’s session storage also occurs only after consent. Raw analytics data is retained for 90 days, and recoverable backups are retained for 14 days. HitKeep runs on infrastructure controlled by us. Analytics data is not transferred to an external analytics provider or to a third country.
You can withdraw your consent at any time through the privacy settings with effect for the future. Withdrawal stops further collection and clears browser-side analytics storage. Data already collected remains subject to the retention periods above and your statutory rights.
4. Recipients and international transfers
Personal data is disclosed only to authorised persons and the processors described in this policy where necessary for the relevant purpose. Data is transferred outside the EU or EEA only where the conditions of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR are met.
5. No automated decision-making
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR and do not create user profiles.
6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where consent is used, you may withdraw it at any time for the future.
